We are delighted to confirm that after the fantastic success of last years concert we are doing it a...
As part of our commitment to helping other local charities we made a donation this year of £3000 to Hope house. This money was raised from our childrens invititational football tournament in May which was a fantastic success!
Hope House based in Morda in Oswestry, support children who's illnesses are so serious that they're not expected to live longer than early adulthood. They're there to help them enjoy the best possible quality of life and make the most of every moment. They need to raise £6 million each year to make sure they can carry on helping the children and families that need them.
We raised this fantastic amount with the help from our friends at Lloyds bank who helped us on the day. Lloyds bank manager Roz and her team did a great job for us on the day as runners / helpers in the football matches, selling cakes and raffle tickets. With this close involvement with us it enabled them to make a contribution through the lloyds bank community fund. Thank you Roz, you all did a great job!
Ben was then guest of honour when we took the cheque over to Hope House and had a lovely afternoon getting a guided tour of the facilities. Ben can be seen in the photograph with Lynsey Kilvert who is the area fundraiser for Shropshire and Powys and his mom Louise.
